ASD airborne surface disinfection device for the pharmaceutical industry: TwinCruiser VGF

The pharmaceutical or cosmetic industries require a highly secure and controlled environment in terms of infectious risk prevention. To guarantee staff safety, but also that of the final consumers as well as the integrity of the marketed product, it is imperative to exclude any bacteria, virus and thus any cross-contamination during each process and stage of a drug’s production. Disinfection of surfaces and walls facilitates infectious risk control.

ASD, an ally in controlling microbiological contamination

Airborne surface disinfection equipment such as the TwinCruiser VGF  (Hydrogen Peroxide and Ozone) or the alternative TwinCruiser LC (Hydrogen Peroxide) is a real asset for the effective decontamination of analysis rooms, experimental and production equipment, and storage areas for pharmaceutical or cosmetic products.

TwinCruiser VGF: total air and surface decontamination

  • Intended for use in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, the TwinCruiser VGF is 100% automated.
  • This ASD equipment can treat a volume of space up to 300 m3 for an average consumption and flow rate of 8 ml/ m3.
  • The VGF diffuses, as a biocide, Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) which can be associated with Peroxone (03H2O2), resulting in the complete air and surface decontamination of the treated room. The active ingredient is diffused as a dry mist by aerosolisation via a venturi nozzle, with a particle size of 5 to 8 µm. The ozone distribution system is carried out in gaseous form via a specific fan.
  • This device is equipped with calibration systems as well as a temperature and hygrometry sensor. It is equipped with an internal security interface with four password levels.
  • It can be controlled remotely (the implementation of an ASD process implies the absence of any human presence) from a tablet, a computer or a smartphone connected by Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Finally, it is tested and complies with EMC, LVD and RADIO directives.

TwinCruiser LC: also certified NF T72-281 and NF EN 14348

  • The TwinCruiser LC robot meets the same standards as its VGF counterpart. Namely NF T72-281 (2009 and 20214) and NF EN 14348. It is based on an identical operating mode but uses only hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).
  • It also falls into the category of airborne surface disinfection devices, listed under the abbreviation ASD (DSVA in French) It offers an alternative solution for the pharmaceutical industry.
